Berry ginger smoothie

Tangy, ice-cold, and made in a minute in the blender.

Rico's note: Keep a bag of berries in the freezer just for this — it's the go-to smoothie for days you train away from home.

Ingredients

  • 150 g (5½ oz) frozen berries
  • 1 banana (120 g / 4 oz)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated (2 g)
  • 200 ml (¾ cup) coconut milk beverage
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds (10 g)

Method

  1. Put the still-frozen berries, the banana and the ginger in the blender jar.
  2. Pour the coconut milk beverage over the top.
