Ingredients

  • 150 g (5½ oz) toasted almonds
  • 8 pitted Medjool dates (192 g / 7 oz)
  • 4 tbsp pure cocoa powder (24 g / ¾ oz)
  • 2 tbsp almond butter (24 g / ¾ oz)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (5 g)
  • 2 tbsp water (30 g / 1 oz)
  • extra cocoa powder, for coating, as needed

Method

  1. Put the almonds in the food processor and pulse until finely ground.
  2. Add the dates and process until you have a sticky dough.
