Avocado cocoa mousse
Creamy and ready in ten minutes, no oven needed
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado (150 g / 5½ oz) — flesh only
- 3 tbsp 100% cocoa powder (22 g / ¾ oz)
- 3 tbsp white or brown sugar (36 g / 1¼ oz) — no added sugar: 3 tbsp xylitol (40 g)
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) coconut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla flavoring (5 g)
In the no-added-sugar version, eating too much erythritol or xylitol can have a laxative effect. Keep it away from dogs: xylitol is toxic to them.
Method
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and scoop out the flesh with a spoon.
- Put the flesh in the blender with the cocoa powder, sugar, coconut milk and vanilla.
The full method (6 steps), Rico's tip, the Thermomix® or similar version, the variations and storage are in the ebook “Desserts”. The English edition is coming soon.
