Tropical pineapple turmeric smoothie

Rico's note: Add a pinch of black pepper with the turmeric — it's the spice's classic partner and rounds out the flavor.

Ingredients

  • 100 g (3½ oz) fresh pineapple
  • ½ mango (100 g / 3½ oz) — flesh only
  • 1 banana (120 g / 4 oz)
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric (2 g)
  • 1 pinch black pepper (0.5 g)
  • 200 ml (¾ cup) coconut water

Method

  1. Cut the pineapple, mango and banana into pieces.
  2. Put the fruit in the blender jar.
