A spicy, protein-packed chili made with just lean turkey and vegetables, no beans.
Ingredients
- 400 g (14 oz) lean ground turkey
- 1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes (400 g / 14 oz)
- 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped (120 g / 4 oz)
- 1 medium onion, chopped (110 g / 4 oz)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (6 g)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (20 g / ¾ oz)
- 1 tbsp chili powder (7 g)
- 1 tsp ground cumin (2 g)
- ½ tsp sweet paprika (1 g)
- salt and black pepper, to taste
- fresh cilantro, chopped (3 g) — to serve
Method
- Finely chop the onion and garlic and finely dice the bell pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic for 4–5 minutes, until soft.
