Tropical papaya ginger smoothie

Sweet, tangy and spicy all at once, in five minutes.

Rico's note: Whenever you find good papaya at the market, make this the next day — it gives breakfast a vacation feel.

Ingredients

  • 200 g (7 oz) fresh papaya
  • 1 orange, juice only (120 g / 4 oz)
  • ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated (3 g)
  • 100 ml (½ cup) coconut water
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds (10 g)
  • ice, as needed

Method

  1. Peel the papaya and cut it into chunks.
  2. Juice the orange.
