Frozen banana and peanut butter ice cream

Creamy nice cream — no ice cream maker, sweetened only with banana, ready in 5 minutes.

Rico's note: Never throw out leftover ripe bananas — freeze them. This is the answer when you want something sweet at night and don't want to open a tub of real ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium ripe bananas, sliced (240 g / 8½ oz) — frozen for at least 4 hours
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (15 g / ½ oz)
  • 100 ml (½ cup) unsweetened almond milk
  • salt — 1 pinch

Method

  1. Slice the bananas and freeze them in a bag or container for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  2. Put the frozen bananas, peanut butter, almond milk and the pinch of salt in a food processor.
