Chicken pizza wrap

Ground chicken as a pizza base, baked with cheese on a crispy wrap.

Rico's note: The answer for when you're craving pizza but don't want to go to bed feeling heavy.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole-wheat wrap (70 g / 2½ oz)
  • 150 g (5½ oz) chicken breast, minced or ground
  • 3 tbsp tomato puree (45 g / 1½ oz)
  • 30 g (1 oz) shredded reduced-fat cheese
  • salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and oregano, to taste
  • 30 g (1 oz) sliced mushrooms
  • 25 g (1 oz) olives
  • fresh basil leaves, to taste (5 g)

Method

  1. Season the ground chicken (or minced breast) with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and oregano.
  2. Spread the raw meat directly over the wrap in an even layer, covering the whole surface, and press it down well so it sticks.
