Banana, spinach and cocoa smoothie

The smoothie that hides the greens with cocoa.

Rico's note: Cocoa completely masks the taste of spinach — it's the easiest way to sneak greens into a smoothie without anyone noticing.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana (120 g / 4 oz)
  • 1 cup baby spinach (30 g / 1 oz)
  • 200 ml (¾ cup) almond milk
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (15 g / ½ oz)
  • 5 g cocoa powder
  • ice, as needed

Method

  1. Put the banana, already frozen and sliced, in the blender jar.
  2. Add the spinach, almond milk, peanut butter and cocoa.
