Values are for the first option listed in the ingredients; substitutions and variations change them. Carbs exclude fiber; energy uses the EU conversion factors (fiber at 2 kcal/g). Quantities and times are a starting point: adjust them to your taste. Two things don't change: poultry and ground meat must be cooked all the way through, and allergens — always check the labels.

Baked apple with cinnamon and walnuts

The simplest baked dessert there is, sweetened only by the apple.

Rico's note: Put these in the oven while you wash the Friday dinner dishes — they come out just in time to eat while still warm.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, cored (300 g / 10½ oz)
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts (20 g / ¾ oz)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (3 g)
  • 100 ml (½ cup) water (for the baking pan)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  2. Core the apples with a knife or an apple corer, without cutting all the way through the bottom.

The full method (5 steps), Rico's tip, the variations and storage are in the ebook “Air Fryer”. The English edition is coming soon.
