Ingredients
- 500 g (1 lb) chicken breast, diced
- 60 ml (¼ cup) soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey (30 g / 1 oz)
- 1 clove garlic (3 g)
- 5 g fresh ginger, grated
- 300 g (10½ oz) basmati rice, uncooked
- 600 ml (2½ cups) water — for the rice
- 200 g (7 oz) broccoli florets
- 150 g (5½ oz) carrot sticks
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (4 g)
Method
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic and ginger. Set aside 3 tbsp of the sauce in a separate bowl and marinate the chicken in the rest for 10 minutes.
- Cook the rice in water at a 1:2 ratio, about 12 to 15 minutes.
