Papaya and flaxseed juice

Creamy and full of fiber, to drink on an empty stomach before breakfast.

Rico's note: A good pick for weeks when your eating is all over the place and you're out most of the day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ripe papaya (145 g / 5 oz)
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds (10 g)
  • 1 apple (150 g / 5½ oz)
  • 200 ml (¾ cup) filtered water
  • ½ lemon, juice only (15 g / ½ oz)

Method

  1. Blend the papaya with the filtered water until you have a thin purée.
  2. Add the ground flaxseeds and the apple juice (juiced separately).
