Iced green tea with peach

The homemade version of bottled iced tea, without a single gram of added sugar.

Rico's note: Make a pitcher on Sunday night and drink it over the next two days instead of boxed juice.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml (2 cups) water
  • 2 green tea bags (4 g)
  • 150 g (5½ oz) ripe peach, thinly sliced
  • ½ lemon, juice only (15 g / ½ oz)
  • ice, as needed

Method

  1. Bring the water to a boil and take it off the heat.
  2. Add the green tea bags and let them steep for 4 to 5 minutes — no longer, or the green tea turns bitter.

The full method (5 steps), Rico's tip, the variations and storage are in the ebook “Juices, Shots & Soups”. The English edition is coming soon.
