Beet, apple and carrot pre-workout juice
A deeply colored juice, made for before a workout.
Ingredients
- 1 medium raw beet (100 g / 3½ oz)
- 2 red apples (300 g / 10½ oz)
- 2 carrots (120 g / 4 oz)
- ½ lemon, juice only (15 g / ½ oz)
- 1 small piece fresh ginger (5 g)
- water, as needed — only if blending instead of juicing
Method
- Wash the beet well, peel it and cut it into small pieces.
- Run the beet, apples, carrots and ginger through the juicer, or blend everything with a little water and strain.
