Values are for the first option listed in the ingredients; substitutions and variations change them. Carbs exclude fiber; energy uses the EU conversion factors (fiber at 2 kcal/g). Quantities and times are a starting point: adjust them to your taste. Two things don't change: poultry and ground meat must be cooked all the way through, and allergens — always check the labels.

Tahini bread

Just tahini, eggs and the essentials, with an intense sesame flavor.

Rico's note: One of the quickest breads there is: four main ingredients and no waiting for yeast.

Ingredients

  • 240 g (8½ oz) tahini (sesame paste)
  • 3 eggs (150 g / 5½ oz)
  • 1 tsp salt (6 g)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder (12 g)
  • 2 tbsp psyllium powder (16 g / ½ oz)
  • 80 ml (¼ cup) water

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F) and grease the small loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the tahini with the eggs until smooth.
