Sweet potato toast

The perfect base for sweet or savory toppings, without a crumb of bread.

Rico's note: Use these as a base whenever you want to skip bread but still eat with your hands — top them with whatever you have at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice sweet potato (80 g / 2¾ oz) — cut lengthwise, about 5 mm
  • 1 dessert spoon (10 ml) olive oil (7 g)
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • oregano, to taste — optional

Method

  1. Without peeling it, cut the sweet potato lengthwise into slices about 5 mm thick.
  2. Brush the slices on both sides with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

The full method (5 steps), Rico's tip, the variations and storage are in the ebook “Air Fryer”. The English edition is coming soon.
