Ingredients

  • 40 g (1½ oz) rolled oats
  • 40 g (1½ oz) chopped nuts — walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts
  • 2 egg whites (60 g / 2 oz)
  • 1 tbsp honey (21 g / ¾ oz) — no added sugar: 1 tbsp liquid sweetener
  • 1 pinch salt (1 g)
  • cinnamon, to taste
  • olive oil, for greasing

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the oats, nuts, egg whites, honey, cinnamon and salt until everything is well coated.
  2. Grease a nonstick skillet with a drizzle of olive oil and heat over medium-high heat.
