Rye toast with smoked salmon and avocado

Rye bread with smashed avocado, smoked salmon, dill and capers.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices rye bread (60 g / 2 oz)
  • 80 g (2¾ oz) smoked salmon
  • 1 ripe avocado (150 g / 5½ oz)
  • lemon juice (10 g)
  • fresh dill, to taste (3 g)
  • 1 tsp capers (3 g)
  • ground black pepper, to taste
  • 8 g extra-virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Toast the rye bread until crisp.
  2. Mash the avocado with the lemon juice and pepper.
