Quinoa porridge with berries

Quinoa cooked in almond drink with cinnamon, berries and honey.

Rico's note: Quinoa isn't just for salads — as a warm morning porridge it works really well too.

Ingredients

  • 80 g (2¾ oz) quinoa
  • 300 ml (1¼ cups) almond milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (2 g)
  • 60 g (2 oz) fresh or frozen berries
  • 10 g sliced almonds
  • 1 tbsp honey (20 g / ¾ oz)
  • 8 g chia seeds

Method

  1. Rinse the quinoa well under running water in a fine strainer.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the quinoa, almond milk and cinnamon.
