Pasta with tuna and tomato

The quick dinner you always come back to, with a rich sauce made in a Thermomix® or similar.

Rico's note: Pasta with tuna is the dinner for when you get home late and just want to eat fast.

Ingredients

  • 320 g (11½ oz) pasta (spaghetti or penne), uncooked
  • 200 g (7 oz) tuna in water, drained — about 2 cans
  • 1 onion (100 g / 3½ oz)
  • 2 cloves garlic (6 g)
  • 400 g (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (15 g / ½ oz)
  • oregano, salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the package directions, then drain.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan. Sauté the onion and garlic for 4 minutes.
