Lemon glaze
Two spoonfuls are all it takes to give a cake shine and tang.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar (40 g / 1½ oz) — no added sugar: ½ cup powdered (confectioners') erythritol (60 g)
- 1–2 tbsp lemon juice, or coconut milk (22 g / ¾ oz)
In the no-added-sugar version, eating too much erythritol or xylitol can have a laxative effect.
Method
- Put the powdered sugar in a bowl.
- Add the lemon juice one teaspoon at a time, stirring well.
The full method (4 steps), Rico's tip, the Thermomix® or similar version, the variations and storage are in the ebook “Thermomix® & Co.”. The English edition is coming soon.
