Kiwi and chamomile bedtime smoothie

Kiwi, chamomile and a hint of basil to end the day.

Rico's note: Good after dinner on nights when you'll be up late and need to switch off — the scent of chamomile sets the mood before the first sip.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe kiwis (140 g / 5 oz) — peeled
  • 240 ml (1 cup) strong chamomile tea, cold
  • 1 small banana (90 g / 3¼ oz) — peeled
  • 1 tsp honey (7 g)
  • 1 pinch nutmeg (0.3 g)
  • 5 fresh basil leaves (2 g)

Method

  1. Make 240 ml of strong chamomile tea and let it cool completely.
  2. Peel the kiwis and banana and cut them into pieces.
