Ginger, lemon and honey infusion

A simple hot drink for properly cold days.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml (1 cup) water
  • 2 cm (¾ in) fresh ginger, thinly sliced (15 g / ½ oz)
  • ½ lemon, juice only (15 g / ½ oz)
  • 1 tsp honey (10 g)

Method

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan or electric kettle.
  2. Cut the ginger into thin slices and put them in a mug.
