Unleavened almond crackers

Crisp, with no leavening, ready in minutes in the oven.

Rico's note: Make a batch to take to work; they hold up well in your bag and stand in for packaged crackers.

Ingredients

  • 100 g (3½ oz) almond flour
  • 1 egg (50 g / 1¾ oz)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (10 g)
  • ½ tsp salt (3 g)
  • 5 g sesame seeds, for sprinkling (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the almond flour, egg, olive oil and salt until the dough comes together in a ball.
