Quantities and times are a starting point: adjust them to your taste. Two things don't change: poultry and ground meat must be cooked all the way through, and allergens — always check the labels.

Potato esfihas with chicken

Little potato cups filled with chicken and cheese, made in the air fryer.

Rico's note: The snack for when you want something warm and filled without kneading any dough.

Ingredients

  • 400 g (14 oz) cooked potato
  • 50 g (1¾ oz) oat flour
  • 1 egg (50 g / 1¾ oz)
  • salt, pepper and garlic powder, to taste
  • 1 drizzle of olive oil (10 g)
  • 140 g (5 oz) cooked and shredded chicken — for the filling
  • 80 g (2¾ oz) shredded reduced-fat cheese — for the filling

Method

  1. Boil the potatoes for 25 minutes, or microwave them for 8 to 10 minutes, until soft.
  2. Mash the potatoes and add the seasonings, oat flour and egg. Stir well until you have a dough you can shape. If needed, add a little more oat flour, but don't overdo it or it will dry out.
