Values are for the first option listed in the ingredients; substitutions and variations change them. Carbs exclude fiber; energy uses the EU conversion factors (fiber at 2 kcal/g). Quantities and times are a starting point: adjust them to your taste. Two things don't change: poultry and ground meat must be cooked all the way through, and allergens — always check the labels.

Oven-baked sweet potato chips

Crisp outside, tender inside, with no frying at all.

Rico's note: Make a trayful whenever you're craving something to replace bagged potato chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium sweet potato (200 g / 7 oz)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (10 g)
  • sea salt and sweet paprika, to taste
  • rosemary, to taste — optional

Method

  1. Slice the sweet potato into very thin rounds, using a mandoline if you have one.
  2. Toss with the olive oil, salt and sweet paprika, mixing well to coat every slice.
