Guacamole with cottage cheese

Creamier and higher in protein than regular guacamole.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado (120 g / 4 oz)
  • ½ lemon (15 g / ½ oz) — juice only
  • 70 g (2½ oz) cottage cheese or plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • salt, pepper and garlic powder, to taste
  • cilantro or parsley, to taste — optional
  • Tabasco or piri-piri flakes, to taste — optional

Method

  1. Put the avocado, lemon juice and cottage cheese in a blender or food processor.
  2. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
