Creamy cheese with walnuts and a drizzle of honey, ideal for nibbling.

Rico's note: Put this on the table when you have people over and want something quick that looks more elaborate than it is.

Ingredients

  • 50 g (1¾ oz) fresh goat cheese (queijo fresco de cabra)
  • 5 walnut halves (15 g / ½ oz)
  • 1 tsp raw honey (5 g) — optional
  • fresh thyme, to taste

Method

  1. Place the fresh goat cheese on a small plate.
  2. Break the walnuts roughly with your hands and scatter them on top.
