Crispy chicken strips (fake bacon)

As crispy as bacon, made with nothing but seasoned chicken.

Rico's note: The trick is spreading the chicken thin and even — that's what stops it from burning.

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken burger (90 g / 3¼ oz)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (16 g / ½ oz)
  • salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder, to taste
  • Tabasco, to taste — optional
  • oregano or dried herbs, to taste — optional

Method

  1. Place the chicken burger on a sheet of parchment paper and season with the soy sauce, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder.
  2. If you like it spicy, add a few drops of Tabasco.
