Toasted sunflower seeds with olive oil and salt

A crunchy snack made in ten minutes in the oven.

Rico's note: Fill a jar with these to keep in the car; they come to the rescue when hunger strikes far from home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw hulled sunflower seeds (140 g / 5 oz)
  • 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil (5 g)
  • sea salt, to taste

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 150 °C (300 °F).
  2. In a bowl, toss the seeds with the olive oil and a pinch of salt until well coated.
